Overview:

A journey to Ladakh is a path into silence and altitude. Mountain passes, ancient monasteries, Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake become more than destinations — they transform into an inner landscape of stillness, where time slows down and the mountains resonate like prayer.

Itinerary:

Day 1. Arrival in Leh — Acclimatization at the Edge of the Sky
Upon arrival in Leh, the day is fully dedicated to rest and altitude adaptation. This pause allows the body to gently adjust to the rarefied mountain air. If you feel well, a short visit to Shanti Stupa and a relaxed walk through Leh Market are possible. Smoking and alcohol are strictly not recommended on the first day.
Overnight in Leh.
Day 2. Leh — Alchi — Basgo | Where History and Rivers Meet
Drive along the Indus Valley. Visit Alchi Monastery, an 11th-century complex renowned for its unique frescoes. Explore the ruins of Basgo, rising dramatically above the desert mountains. Stop at the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. Return to Leh.
Overnight in Leh.
Day 3. Leh — Nubra Valley | Crossing Khardung La — Touching the Sky
After arranging the required permits, depart for Nubra Valley. Cross Khardung La Pass (5,602 m), offering breathtaking Himalayan panoramas and the sensation of flying above the earth. Arrival in Nubra Valley and check-in at the hotel.
Overnight in Nubra.
Day 4. Nubra Valley — Gentle Walks and Warm Waters
Light walking route through the valley to experience its natural rhythm. Visit Panamik Hot Springs. Picnic on the banks of the Shyok River. Evening in silence under the stars.
Overnight in Nubra.
Day 5. Nubra — Pangong Lake | Where Water Reflects the Sky
Drive along the Shyok River to Pangong Lake, one of the highest saltwater lakes in the world (approx. 4,300 m). The lake constantly changes shades of blue depending on the light. Sunset and sunrise at Pangong create a profound sense of space and stillness.
Overnight near Pangong Lake.
Day 6. Pangong — Leh | Via Chang La
Return to Leh via Chang La Pass. On the way, visit Shey Palace.
Overnight in Leh.
Day 7. Departure — Carrying the Mountains Within
Transfer to Leh Airport according to flight schedule. The journey ends, but Ladakh remains within — as a space of silence and inner light.
